Discipline

Attendance

·   Students not attaining 80% attendance will not be allowed to sit in quarterly exams.

·   Students not attaining 80% attendance during the year will not be issued an admit card.

·   Attendance in the quarterly exams will be counted towards the annual attendance.

·   Students absent due to illness are required to furnish a medical certificate on the letterhead of a certified medical practitioner. If this certificate is produced within two days of the absence, the absence(s) will be waived in the count towards the quarterly exam.

 

Late arrivals

Late arrivals are handed a Tardy Slips. Those who collect three Tardy Slips will be fined Rs 100/-. This fine will be included in the invoice for the month.

Students in the preschool are allowed in even after their commencement time.

 

Pickup

Parents are required to make arrangements to ensure that their wards are picked up from the school immediately after school is over.

 

Forbidden items

Mobile phones and jewelry items are not allowed in the school premises or within visual range of the school. Such items found with students will be confiscated and handed to the parents after two weeks (the school takes no responsibility for confiscated property under its care). Further disciplinary action will be taken against offenders.

 

Behaviour

The school enforces civic behaviour. Bad language (including insolent body language), bullying, damage to school property, cheating and smoking are not tolerated in the school and strong disciplinary action is taken. This action may include suspension and expulsion.
