The School

Farnaz Hassan is the Principal of the school and also directly handles the Elementary School. She joined Civilizations in August 2004 as its Vice Principal and head of the Elementary School. Her work in transforming the Elementary School resulted in her eventual promotion to Headmistress of Civilizations Public School in March 2006 and its Principal in April 2008.

Prior to joining Civilizations, Farnaz Hassan served at the International Campus for Advanced Studies in Lahore, where she last held the post of Academic Coordinator. She has also worked for Lahore Junior School in Lahore.

Farnaz Hassan is alum of PECHS School for Girls and of College of Home Economics in Karachi.

 

Munira Diwan is the Headmistress of the Secondary School. The Secondary School comprises of grades 6 to 10.

Ms Diwan joins the school after 25 years at Foundation Public School. She joined Foundation at its inception and proceeded to eventually hold several leadership positions. Her last assignment there was as Director, Academics.

Munira Diwan’s early specialization was in the teaching of mathematics but she subsequently trained for and developed in school leadership roles. She has attended numerous courses in and outside Pakistan on teaching techniques and on school leadership. She regularly trains teachers of some of the city’s leading schools.

 

Management
